About The Owner, Laura Pompa

Laura Pompa is a  mother, Chicana, San Antonio native and a performance artist / street theater professional who researches, writes & performs live street theater in the heart of downtown San Antonio. She weaves history, culture & entertainment together telling the stories of the people, places & events that have built San Antonio. 

 

Laura has spent over a decade perfecting her storytelling career & is excited  for her new artistic venture , “Loco Local Tours:  San Antonio, a curated cultural experience”. Loco Local, seeks to be a conduit between the vibrant & thriving local San Antonio arts communities and visitors from all over the world. 

 

With Loco Local, Laura is also able to share her deep connections with expanded consciousness & the spirit realms with the haunted history tours. With this work Laura has experienced much evidence of the existence of the paranormal, which translates into her art work.  

 

Laura is also a multifaceted experimental mix media visual artist. Her art forms range from painting, collage, sculpture, fashion, erotica & installation. Laura has exhibited her mix media visual arts at numerous art studios and galleries in San Antonio including, Clamp Light Studio, No Mas Arte Studios,  Velvet La Vamp Studios, & Thrd Space Studio. Laura participates with her art  in cultural festivals like Muertos Fest & King William Fair. Laura also volunteers her time, energy & art for social justices causes like TRUCHA! & Sin Fronteras, in support of migrant families.
